With over 15 years in the social service field, I have supported individuals and families as they work through a wide range of life challenges, from anxiety, stress and grief to family restructuring, in hopes of finding healthier ways of living and creating a more meaningful life. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a discipline in Psychology from the University of South Alabama and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from the University of Mobile. I am currently working toward full licensure as an Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC) in the state of Alabama under the supervision of Cindy Perronne, MS, ADC, LPC-S.
Over the past 13 years I have worked extensively with at-risk youth and their families in a variety of settings, including school-based and outpatient programs, helping them manage behavioral concerns, strengthen family relationships and move toward meaningful change. I bring that same empathy and real-world understanding to my work with clients of all ages and backgrounds. I also provide EMDR clinical sessions on request.
My approach is warm, collaborative and supportive. I draw from Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solution-Focused strategies, and I aim to create a safe space where your healing feels possible and progress feels within reach. Above all, I am here to help individuals and families navigate life’s challenges in ways that feel meaningful, creating lasting change that supports a more purposeful life filled with hope, healing and growth.
